Every day in Australia, 19 women will be told they have a gynaecological cancer and sadly, 6 will die from their disease.
Australia boasts some of the best medical services, and much has been done to ensure that all people receive a high standard of care. But a lack of research means there are very limited treatment options for women with gynaecological cancers.
WomenCan are transforming the way every woman will be treated for cancer. We are raising funds to ensure all women have access to personalised treatment.
Molecular profiling is rapidly emerging as the most effective way for women to receive personalised treatment options, yet most women can't access this due to a lack of awareness or cost.
The best treatment for every woman with a gynaecological cancer – every time. That’s what we’re working towards. Please help is get there by joining with other Australians that are fighting to save women's lives.

Why help us?
Everyday over 19 women are diagnosed in Australia, with one death every four hours. In 25 years survival rates have improved only 7%, with other cancer survival rates improving 17%. Gynaecological cancers are critically under-funded. We need your help to change these statistics and fight for the 6,777 women diagnosed every year.
WomenCan fundraise for gynaecological cancer research conducted by the Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group. Leading women’s cancer research to drive improved treatment pathways and better outcomes for women.
On average a clinical trial costs more than a million dollars, which is why the continued support of people like you is vital to improving women’s survival rates.
When we speak to women diagnosed, and their families, the consistent message is that they feel alone. Together we can help change that through raising awareness and funds for transforming treatment pathways.
How to help
It’s easy, as a business you can donate any amount you choose.
Donate $1,000 and send us your logo and we will display your support on our website.
Donate $2,500 and send us your logo and business profile and will display you on our website as well as profile you across our newsletter and socials. You will also receive 2 x VIP tickets to our corporate networking events held twice per year.
Donate $5,000 and we will do all of the above as well as give you 4 x VIP tickets to our corporate networking events held twice per year.

Ali started to experience minor, but noticeable symptoms in 2022. She said it was like a sixth sense;
“I didn’t know why, or how, but there was a voice and it eventually got me to the doctors.”
After multiple appointments and even surgery, she got the news all women dread. It was cancer.
She said, “I had this ticking time bomb in my pelvis, meanwhile, my children were 11, 13 and 14. And I was determined to fight for more time with them.
Now she is determined to do what she can so that future women don't have to go through what she has.
