THE POWER OF WOMENCAN
WomenCan fundraises for the Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) which is the leading clinical trials research organisation for gynaecological cancer in Australia and New Zealand.
Our mission is to improve the lives of women with gynaecological cancers through fundraising for research. We engage the community to fund pioneering discoveries that will enable women with gynaecological cancer to live longer better lives.
WomenCan was borne out of the belief in the power of ANZGOG’s research and the support of the collective, united in a common purpose to make a real difference in the lives of women with gynaecological cancer.
We have seen first-hand how strong, determined and courageous women are in the face of a life-threatening disease like a gynaecological cancer. We believe that WomenCan be even stronger with you, the community, by their side.
With your support and energy, together, we can deliver results that empower women with a gynaecological cancer to thrive and survive.
WHAT IS ANZGOG
Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group is the peak national gynaecological cancer research group in Australia and New Zealand. For 20 years, we have conducted world-leading clinical trials research.
Our purpose is to improve the outcomes and quality of life for women with gynaecological cancer, by conducting and supporting clinical trials and other research that helps women affected by gynaecological cancer.

clinical trial projects
WomenCan is the brand-new face for gynaecological cancer fundraising in Australia, uniting charity organisations such as Women’s Cancer Foundation and initiatives including Team Teal, Save the Box and Go for Gynae.
Women’s Cancer Foundation was a key not for profit organisation helping women with ovarian cancer and supporting research.
In 2018, the charity amalgamated under ANZGOG, which enables us to work more effectively to raise funds for research and projects that help women affected by gynaecological cancer.
It’s thanks to all the dedicated, passionate people who have worked hard to support research into gynaecological cancer that WomenCan exists today.
