Our mission is to engage the community to fund pioneering discoveries that will enable women with a gynaecological cancer to live better and live longer. We support the peak national research group, Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG), by funding their programs to improve life for women with gynaecological cancer.

WomenCan believes the power of the collective, united in a common purpose, can make a real difference in the lives of women with gynaecological cancers. We have seen first-hand how strong, determined and courageous women are in the face of a life-threatening disease. We believe that WomenCan be even stronger with you, the community, by their side.

With your support and energy, together, we can raise funds for ANZGOG’s pioneering research, so women live better and live longer.

In Australia every year 6,777 women will be diagnosed with one of the seven gynaecological cancers. Gynaecological cancer does not discriminate. It can affect many women - young and old, new mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and wives.

Research has validated that when it comes to treating women with cancer, it is not a one size fits all approach. ANZGOG’s members work on clinical research programs that focus on developing targeted treatments, to improve outcomes for women with gynaecological cancer.

Virtually every advance ever made in cancer has come off the back of clinical trials. That’s why fundraising for this cutting-edge research is so important.

WomenCan has several fundraising initiatives that you can get involved with across the year such as Team Teal, Honour Her, a Tax Appeal and End of Year Appeal.

We are a DGR status 1 charity, ABN 69 138 649 028.
