I'm challenging myself to help fund gynaecological cancer research!
I'm challenging myself to run the Paris 2024 Marathon to help fund research that will enable women with gynaecological cancer to live longer better lives.
Funds raised through Team Teal support ANZGOG's research and education program - Survivors Teaching Students, bringing ovarian and gynaecological cancer survivors into the classroom of medical students to share their lived experiences.
The funds further provide support for patients to access gynaecological cancer clinical trials, particularly in regional and remote areas, ensuring women have access to the best available care irrespective of where they live.
My motivation, and my inspiration, is my beautiful mum Lyn. This run is for her, and all other women lost to this insidious disease. xxx
