Meet
JANE
Jane was a busy mum, a wife and a full-time nurse, and like so many women, she initally put her symptoms down to work, family and everyday life.
It was only when Jane discovered a lump on her vulvar that she sought medical advice. She was diagnosed with vulvar cancer, beginning a journey of surgery, hospital visits and uncertainty.
Looking back, Jane wishes she had recognised her symptoms sooner. And when she began talking about her diagnosis, she discovered just how little many people knew about vulvar cancer.
Jane is sharing her story because awareness can save lives.
