I have the opportunity to fight cancers with all my heart. I would like to think that through me God is handwriting love letters to the world! 💜

In late 2024 and all through 2025, I battled metastatic uterine leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of uterine (endometrial cancer). I was told of the 2nd cancer one week apart - that I also have papillary thyroid carcinoma (thyroid cancer) which was only found incidentally. I had five procedures in total, including total robotic hysterectomy and total thyroidectomy.

I was so afraid and lost and didn't know what was going to happen. I have never heard of these cancers before. I wanted to wake up and realise it was all bad dreams. But I love life so much and I wanted to do more, even I was so afraid, I wanted to fight, I wanted to live. I wanted to be given another chance in this life so I could do more of small things with great love. After one year and 4 months, I am now in remissions from both cancers. I must have angels above watching over me as everything happened so quick and here I am. I just need to get checked every six months (for each cancer) and now taking thyroxine tablet for life. Most of the time when I wake up, I get aches now and then. I now also have to use a mobility walker - which at first I was reluctant to use and had a couple of falls. But I made peace with it. I am embracing all these changes because it means I am still here. I am still fighting. I am even back at work part time. Even catching the bus or walking around is a miracle for me. I have so much to be grateful for. I am so blessed and I thank God, Jesus every day. I thank my partner Paul for being there, and I thank where I am and everyone around me. I wanted to do something meaningful, spread awareness and reach other women out there who may be feeling alone in this battle.
