In its third iteration, the Venus Community spearheaded by our Ambassador, Paula Duncan AM, has raised more than $50,000 in its Venus Mother's Day fundraising lunch on Friday 10 May 2024. 

More than 100 guests were treated to a lavish lunch at Hyatt Regency Sydney, featuring a spread of delicious grazing platters and unlimited champagne among other refreshments. The event was brilliantly MC’d by Paula Duncan, who stepped in to replace Jean Kittson AM, renowned Australian performer and writer. Due to personal reasons Jean could not attend on the day. A stellar performance by Catherine Alcorn, a multi-award-winning entertainer. A poignant panel discussion titled "Advancing Research Saving Lives" added depth to the celebration.

This year was a phenomenal sell-out and we apologise to the many who missed out, we do not want to grow the capacity as the topics we discuss are very personal and we feel a more intimate setting is appropriate.
