Inspiring Stories

Every day, women face the overwhelming reality of a cancer diagnosis.

WomenCan has seen first-hand how women confront the adversity of a cancer diagnosis. Their inspiring survivor stories demonstrate their courage and strength, and provide comfort for women alike, who are going through their own journey with cancer. This is displayed ANZGOG's Survivors Teaching Students program - a volunteer program funded by WomenCan which brings ovarian and other gynaecological cancer survivors and caregivers into the classrooms of health professional students to teach them about women’s experiences with the diseases. Examples like this show us that together, with your support, we can make a difference in their lives and for future women with gynaecological cancers.
