About the artist:

Elizabeth is a mixed media artist from Sydney who paints in a semi abstract, expressive style.   Her artistic inspiration is drawn from elements of beauty found in everyday life, a love of pattern, flora, fauna and varying landscapes.   Her artworks endeavour to kindle a sensory reaction/spontaneous response that will connect with the viewer and encourage their own interpretation.    

About this piece:

I am taking part in the “Honour Her” campaign for the 3rd year because I wish to honour every woman who is, or has battled gynaecological cancer. This painting is open to interpretation. The colour pink symbolises, amongst other things, femininity, healing and love, of oneself and of others.    I hope this artwork will ignite a feeling of warmth, friendship and solidarity in support of this great cause.    Let’s Honour Her.
