In Memory of Pauline Dance

With immensely heavy hearts we share our resilient and inspiring wife, mum and nan, Pauline Dance passed away on Thursday 30 March 2023.

We lost her quite suddenly while caravanning home from a long-awaited beach holiday, filled with happiness and love. Pauline calls the last few years a journey, never a fight. Her journey is now complete.

Pauline was a primary school teacher for 38 years and scout leader for 20 years. She continued this passion for education to create a better future for women with ovarian and other gynaecological cancers by volunteering for ANZGOG's Survivors Teaching Students program. Pauline was also a cast member of the award winning podcast "On the Down Low - speaking up about ovarian cancer" - a project that Pauline and daughter Alison worked on together.

In lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate to ANZGOG's Survivors Teaching Students program - a ground breaking volunteer program that brings women with ovarian and other gynaecological cancer into the classrooms of health professional students to teach them about women's experiences with the diseases.

We are grateful for the love we are receiving at this impossible time.
