REINSWOMAN STORY
21 year old Samantha Gangell will be representing Tasmania as Team Teal’s newest ambassador, sponsored by Yole Racing. Sam is not only a full time university student but is largely involved in training and driving across the harness racing industry. Winner of the 2018 female driver’s championship in Tasmania, Sam has accomplished so much already and we are excited to see what she will bring to Team Teal 2020.
COMMUNITY STORY
Wonderful community supporters continue to raise money for Team Teal outside the traditional Feb/March campaign period. Cranbourne Harness Racing Club held their second “Girls Night Out” event in June 2019 to raise funds for Team Teal. With over 400 guests including ANZGOG representative Karen Livingstone AM who presented to the crowd, the annual fundraiser included DJ Entertainment & Dancefloor, Photobooth, Gift Bag, Door Prizes and more! It was a wonderful night and raised $5,570 for the Team Teal campaign.
