What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

Play will continue rain or shine. The event will only be paused or modified if weather conditions pose a safety risk, such as lightning, or if the course is officially closed. 

Catering and dinner will proceed as planned, regardless of weather conditions. Timing of food service may be adjusted slightly. 

What if the event is cancelled?

In the rare event that the golf day has to be cancelled a new date will be set and all tickets and sponsorships will be transferred to the new date. You must advise within 14 days of the new date notification if you wish to receive a refund. This must be done in writing to womencan@anzgog.org.au

Can I get a refund if I cant attend?

Tickets are not refundable, they may be transferred only. See Can my ticket be transferred. 

Is my ticket transferrable if I can't make it?

Tickets may be transferred up to 7 days prior to the event, please email us at womencan@anzgog.org.au with the original ticket holders details, ticket receipt and the full details of the person you wish to transfer to. Closer than 7 days prior to the event tickets may not be able to be transferred, this will be determined on an individual basis with the club, please email us and we can advise. 

What should I wear to the event?

The golf course has a strict dress code, and it's important that all guests follow it. Anyone not dressed appropriately will not be allowed to play, so please check your outfit before arriving.

Here’s what to wear:

  • Collared shirt (tucked in)

  • Tailored pants or tailored shorts (with a belt)

  • Plain white socks or socks with a golf club logo (short socks must be at least 15cm above the shoe)

  • Golf shoes with soft spikes only (no metal spikes)

What to avoid:


  • Denim, cargo shorts/pants, drawstring or elastic pants

  • Collarless or sleeveless shirts

  • Branded sport socks (e.g., Nike, Reebok)

  • Track shoes or runners


    There will be changing rooms and showers available to change into evening attire.
