In the fight against gynaecological cancer, every picture tells a story – of courage, of hope, of discovery.

This September, Honour Her will bring together renowned and emerging artists to tell these stories in support of the 6500 women diagnosed with gynaecological cancer each year, and those working hard to help them live better and live longer.

Gynaecological cancers are the third most common cancers in women, but they can be difficult to diagnose and have much lower survival rates than other cancers. While 91% of women survive breast cancer five years after diagnosis, this number drops to 46% for women with ovarian cancer.

That’s why we need your support to fund state-of-the-art research and clinical trials that will help change this story for the 18 women diagnosed with gynaecological cancer every day.

Purchase a powerful work of art or make a kind donation to Honour Her this September and know that a portion of proceeds will fund pioneering gynaecological cancer research.

How artists can Honour Her

Established artists from around Australia are invited to donate a work of art for the Honour Her online auction, which will be live throughout September. Community artists and art students can also take part by donating an artwork to the virtual gallery.

All types of artwork are welcomed that bring to life the themes of the Honour Her campaign – the courage and determination of women living with gynaecological cancers, and the hope and innovation offered by ongoing research and clinical trials.
