GIVE TODAY AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE
20 September is World Gynaecological Oncology Day.
Over 8,000 women in Australia and New Zealand are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer every year. Diagnosis is often delayed, leading to the treatment of advanced diseases. Because of this, too many friends and families are losing loved ones.
That is why WomenCan fundraises for ANZGOG's gynaecological cancer research, driven by evidence of need and an ambition to change practice, improve outcomes and provide hope.
Help us advance research and save lives.
anzgog's research impact
20+ years
ANZGOG has been improving life for women through research since 2000.
over 40 trials
ANZGOG has enabled more than 40 clinical trials and studies across a range of gynaecological cancers.
4,000+ women
More than 4,000 patients have participated in ANZGOG's clinical trials.
FUNDING RESEARCH IS CRITICAL
"Research costs money. Funding ensures that the best clinical trial ideas are brought to life. The only way to provide our community with access to government-funded drugs for gynaecological cancers, is to provide the clinical trial evidence that a drug works – and that costs."
– Professor Clare Scott AM
WomenCan fundraises for the Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG), the peak national clinical trials research organisation for gynaecological cancer in Australia and New Zealand.
”I’m an absolute living proof of living long enough for the new treatments.” - Kristin
#TogetherWeAreStronger

"CLINICAL TRIALS CAN GIVE BACK PRECIOUS TIME WITH LOVED ONES"
”My sister Kristen was fortunate enough to benefit from two ANZGOG clinical trials.”
"These two trials bought her extra time. Extra precious memories with us." - Elsa
