WomenCan's campaign, Honour Her, has been raising funds throughout September for ANZGOG’s gynaecological cancer research by showcasing the work of emerging artists in a virtual gallery.
In addition to this, an online auction that features artwork from renowned Australian artists, has launched as of 17 September.
Honour Her, WomenCan’s campaign featuring stories of women affected by gynaecological cancer, artists, and their works, has launched the inaugural live auction as of Friday, September 17th.
The online auction will feature exclusive works by well-known artists that Australians will have the chance to purchase and help fund life-saving gynaecological cancer research. The list of over 30 artists includes some of the nation’s most exciting in-demand artists, Archibald, and art prize finalists. Honour Her is also an opportunity for some of the artists to honour loved ones.
Half of the proceeds will be donated to ANZGOG’s pioneering gynaecological cancer research, and the other half supporting the artists involved.
The auction will run for 10 days (September 17th-27th).
